BRECHT DE POORTERE

ABOUT
Born in Belgium, I spent a large part of my life in Africa - in Senegal, Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Mozambique and Tunisia. I am currently based in Paris, France, and I took up writing during the pandemic. A lot of my stories are inspired by the beautiful and sad things I experienced while living in Africa. Recurring themes include identity, nostalgia and love.
